Big Long Now (A Silly One)

Lately I have been posting pretty pointless websites. Well, here is another one.  Basically it's a door that can be opened and closed again and again. It has a doorbell that rings and the doors make noise when they are opened and closed. If you get unbelieveably bored, check this out.

Virtual Bubblewrap (A Silly One)

Virtual Bubblewrap. It's pretty cool. You can pop bubblewrap online. You can try to beat others scores by how fast you pop the bubblewrap. There is also e-cards that can be sent to your friends. Now go on and have a good time. :)

String Spin Toy (A Silly One)

This is a pretty cool thing I found on the internet. It is a way that non artistic people,like myself, can make art online. The string spin toy can keep you occupied for quite a while.  Go try it sometime when you are looking for something to do. Have fun!

The Prayer Room

This is a great site if you or someone you know is in need of prayer support. You can put a prayer request up in the Prayer Room. People then can read your prayer request and pray for you. Some people (chaplains) might even post their prayer under your request. I have used the Prayer Room many times during my hospital stays or when I am in a lot of pain. It's nice to have a place where others can see what you need and pray for you.  Remember, God always answers prayers. It may not be what we think should happen. Sometimes his answer is no but God is all knowing. He sees the whole picture while we only see what we can/want see.

Free Resources for Education

If you are someone who loves to learn new things this is a pretty nice website to have access to. It has a whole bunch of topics under the subjects of math, science, music, english, and many others. One could definately use this website for a source for research papers.

Free Internet Radio

I personally don't use this site because I am Deaf but I people have told me that it's a good website so I thought I'd pass it along. It is an internet radio site. From what I understand you can search for a specific song/artist and the radio will play your request and then play songs that are similar to what you asked for. You have to create an account but it is free to do. Once you have an account then you can save radio stations and you can access them from any computer.

A-Z Health Conditions

This is a site I stumbled upon while I was in search of some explanations about some illnesses and conditions affecting me and my family. This is a good resource for kids and teens to find out about different illnesses, conditions, and disabilities. It is put on by the Great Ormand Street Hospital in London. New conditions are added regularly. If the condition your in search for is not there they have a place where you can request for the condition to be posted. I am waiting for Goldenhar Syndrome to be posted.  Besides the list of conditions there is also healthy eating tips, first aid tips, real stories, and a dear doc section.
